Our logo was adopted in 2017 by the Session to be used as a visual symbol of our community. The logo was designed by Rebecca Lehmann-Sprouse of rls_design.
Logo Symbolism
At its heart our new logo is a cross with beams of light radiating off of it signifying that we worship the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, who by his death on the cross freed us from death and raises us up to life eternal.
You will see that the cross and the rays of light are made out of leaves. This is to symbolize that in Christ we are made a new creation every day. The green of the leaves symbolizes nature and our continuous growth in our faith and as a covenant community – this is further highlighted by the tag line “Growing in Faith”. The leaves are different shades of green signifying that while we are all equals as brothers and sisters in Christ we are also a diverse congregation open to all people regardless of age, gender or race.
